Jalan and his gang of bandits earn their living raiding the property of unsuspecting travelers along the mountain passes of the Himalayan Silk Route. Their brotherhood is bound by their code of honor and a collective will to rise above their humble origins. From a caravan raid, the beautiful and mysterious Ushna emerges with her sights set on Jalan - a man she claims to have seen in her dreams. Her presence fills the bandits’ encampment with unease. To calm tensions Ushna promises to guide them to untold riches on the condition that they never question her methods. With every successful exploit, she earns their trust and Jalan’s love. But as Jalan and Ushna’s love intensifies, their thirst for wealth expands beyond the material into a mystical realm that threatens to consume them entirely and leave every soul they encounter in disarray and despair.

Life has served as filmmaker Pan Nalin’s film school and with this his second narrative feature film he delivers an exceptional love story that transcends international boundaries, time and the wildest of imaginations. VALLEY OF FLOWERS is a fantastical epic film with all of the markings of a modern masterpiece.
