In Shyam Balsé's thesis film for USC, Govinda, a cardiologist
based in California, returns to India to treat his ailing father. Tradition
and superstition clash with rationality and science as Govinda struggles
to reason with his father, while simultaneously reliving haunting memories
of his wife's death.
