INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL OF LOS ANGELES ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
FESTIVAL SETS 2026 DATES
Los Angeles, CA (October 20, 2026) – Today, the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (“IFFLA”) announced the 24th edition will take place on April 23-26, 2026, welcoming to its team Anjay Nagpal as Executive Director.
Nagpal is an award winning producer and executive whose credits include films like Greyhound, Bombshell, The Green Knight, Joker and The Survivor. In championing as a studio executive, and later Producing Dev Patel’s Monkey Man, Nagpal has been a dedicated advocate for South Asian storytelling. In addition to Monkey Man, he previously developed a series on the Mughal Empire and worked on an adaptation of the acclaimed novels Cutting for Stone and Last Man in Tower. With expertise in financing, production, and global distribution, Nagpal has been a successful buyer and seller of critically-acclaimed films at major international festivals. His track record for identifying talent includes the first features from directors including Jon Watts (COP CAR), Julia Ducournau (Raw), and Justin Tipping (Kicks).

The 24th edition of IFFLA is set for April 23-26, 2026. Call for entries for the IFFLA 2026 Shorts Competition open on October 22, 2025.
