Welcome to the official website of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA). IFFLA is a nonprofit organization devoted to a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture by showcasing films, honoring entertainment industry performers and business executives, and promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian diaspora.

The eighth edition of IFFLA will take place April 20-25, 2010 at ArcLight Hollywood, a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Los Angeles. The full program will be announced end of March and tickets go on sale April 2, 2010.

Korn/Ferry International, a premier global provider of talent management solutions, has announced its list of the Most Influential South Asian Women Executives in the Media and Entertainment Industry. The list was created to honor women executives of South Asian background who have excelled in various roles in the media and entertainment business. The individuals on the list will be honored at a reception and dinner during IFFLA 2010. Click here for press release and full list.

IFFLA has announced the IFFLA Film Fund, a new program that seeks to help emerging filmmakers realize their feature-length narrative and non-narrative film projects that reflect universal themes inherent within Indian culture. The ten finalists for the first annual IFFLA Film Fund Development Grant were announced on December 17th. Finalists will receive Final Draft and Sony Creative software and IFFLA will submit a dossier of their projects for consideration to a group of selected entertainment agencies, and production and distribution companies in the U.S. The winner, Kranti Kanade with his script AGAINST ITSELF was announced in January and will receive a $10,000 grant. Kanade will hold a stage reading of his script at IFFLA 2010.
