The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) is proud to present IFFLA Industry Days, a forum designed to strategically bring together established executives from Hollywood and rising and prominent filmmakers from South Asia and its diasporas. The expanded two-day event will spotlight exciting South Asian voices, while attendees will have educational opportunities to hear first-hand expert advice from industry professionals, and engage in conversations around notable South Asian film and TV projects.
Conceived to complement IFFLA’s mission of fostering global storytelling, IFFLA Industry Days creates a high-impact ecosystem by providing industry-focused mentorship, educational resources, and networking opportunities. After the tremendous success of the first-ever IFFLA Industry Day in June 2024, we are back with an expanded program, and a groundbreaking new partnership with Cinevesture International Film Festival, making it a one-of-a-kind platform for South Asian storytellers in the US and beyond. We look forward to an inclusive and enlightening space to exchange inspiring ideas, foster mentorship, explore business collaborations, and create the next wave of groundbreaking work from the South Asian community in Los Angeles and beyond.
The pinnacle event of IFFLA Industry Days is Launch Pad: A Pitch Competition, where pre-selected projects in development will be presented by their creative team to a diverse panel of executives. Invited projects will receive immediate feedback from the panelists who, upon completion of the event, will be awarding one of the projects a $10,000 development grant. The competition takes place in front of a live audience, providing a thrilling peek into the typically closed door process of pitching.
